Origins

The combination of a temperate climate, suitable soil conditions, abundant human resources, and convenient transportation to international markets was why Mr. Thomas Hooft – the founder of Dalat Hasfarm – chose Da Lat, Vietnam, as the place to establish his flower farming business. Starting with just one hectare of roses and one hectare of carnations grown in simple bamboo greenhouses, the farm has expanded significantly over the years. Today, Dalat Hasfarm operates modern steel greenhouses and additional farms in Da Ron, Da Quy, and Lam Ha, covering nearly 320 hectares. Each year, the company produces up to 200 million flower stems and 250 million cuttings for markets worldwide.
